What is IP Address Reputation?
IP Reputation is an algorithmic security score (ranging from 0 to 100) assigned to an IP address by global threat intelligence networks, ISPs, and Web Application Firewalls (WAFs). If an IP address is detected sending spam emails, scanning open ports, or hosting botnet C2 nodes, its reputation score drops and it is added to public IP Blacklists (DNSBLs).
